Sony Boosts its Supply Chain Strategy

Sony has once again demonstrated that it aims to use an improved supply chain strategy in order to provide consumer electronics more efficiently. The senior management of Sony had made plans to aggressively reach a target of a seventy percent increase in production in the next fiscal year ending in March 2011.

Nevertheless, Sony is facing two main problems with its supply chain management. One challenge is the fact that it has outsourced much of its manufacturing far from Japanese shores. With an ambitious aim of a 70% increase in production, Sony has a hard time being able to implement this with much of its business model being outsourced. In addition, Sony has faced challenges in making expected sales of its 3D televisions as consumers had cut back on their spending in recent months.

Zander Livingston, who is a well recognized for his expertise in RFID has recently formed his own firm. It is called Truecount Corporation and aimjs to provide more profound capabilities in RFID technology than ever before. Working with Jordan Lampert and Paresh Yadav, the Truecount Corporation will build better technology for retailers in the industry.

The best sat nav device can be your competitive edge
© killrbeez
When you have a business to run, it's not enough for your company to deliver on time, all of your suppliers also have to run tight ships and distribute your supplies when you need them, and, where you need them. In the same way, when you are traveling on business and meeting with key clients, being punctual can be enough to give you a competitive edge. That's why the best sat nav system is a must for your employees.

When you are visiting clients and new prospects, you need to have a reliable navigation system. Your device needs to automatically update with information on new roads, sub-divisions, traffic accidents, and, road works. Navigation systems are not created equal. The worst devices will lead you far from where you need to be, or, place you in the middle of miles of stalled traffic.

Before you equip your sales team, spend some time comparing devices and extra's. You will be glad you did.
