Web seminar on Best Practices for Optimizing Supply Chain Visibility

Filed in archive Special Events on October 23, 2007

supply chain management is all about matching supply with demand and a big barrier to achieve this goal is lack of visibility. Supply chain executives identify improving visibility among their top strategic priorities. There is an overwhelming desire for better transparency to orders, inventory, and shipments across the extended supply chain. Yet most companies still have rudimentary levels of visibility, using a mix of spreadsheets, carrier tracking systems, and homegrown department-centric applications.

- Viktoriya Sadlovska, Supply Chain Finance/Global Trade Research Analyst, Aberdeen Group
