Wal-Mart's COO to speak at SCL Annual Conference

On May 1st Violet Konkle, COO of Wal-Mart, will share Wal-Mart's global supply chain practices in her closing keynote address called, "Using a Global Roadmap for Supply Chain Success".

According to Canadian Transportation & Logistics, Konkle will explore what is required to support the Wal-Mart mandate of Every Day Low Prices for their customers. She will discuss how Wal-Mart is applying global supply chain practices in areas such as RFID and business sustainability to maximize their bottom line.
