Transport Tracking 2005 (First Day)
Filed in archive Special Events on October 6, 2005

As I had announced before, today I attended in this big european event "Transport Tracking 2005" in Gothenburg, Sweden. The event took place at Lindholmen Science Park and it started with a welcome by Greg Geiselhart, Director, Telematics Valley and was followed by keynotes from Jan-Eric Sundgren, President, Chalmers University of Technology and Ricard Fritz, Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning, Volvo Trucks.
The event was then followed by two set of sessions and workshops: Applications Track and Strategy Track. The focus of strategy track sessions was more on partnership and alliances issues and applications track sessions ranged from reefer tracking to driver management.
What can I say about the first day?...It was great. In the next articles, I'll introduce the companies present at the exhibition and more details about the sessions.
