Top five reasons organizations fail at project management

Generally speaking, all companies and organizations are trying to get better at project management. (In other words, there aren't any organizations that are purposely trying to get worse at project management.) Though they may not be able to articulate it, organizations recognize that there is value associated with being able to manage projects more effectively. You will find all this in an article by Tom Mochal.
Tom Mochal, PMP, winner of the 2005 PMI Distinguished Contribution Award, has been TechRepublic's resident project management mentor for the past five years. He is President of TenStep, Inc., a methodology development, training, and consulting company.
