Friday, Sypris Solutions, Inc. announced the appointment of Robert Callahan as Director of Global Supply Chain. The company added that Callahan will be located at its headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky and report to Jeffrey T. Gill, the President and Chief Executive Officer.

According to Trading Markets, Mr. Callahan joins Sypris from general electric, where he served most recently as Director of Global Pricing and Industrial Integration. During his fourteen-year career at General Electric, he also served in various operating, quality and engineering roles with its Subabrasives division.
