Filed in archive Research on March 15, 2009
I just took a look at the webpage for the IBM's new chief supply chain management officers in 2009 and noticed that they have done a great job of capturing an structuring of the future supply chain needs. IBM work has found that beside the elements such as risk management and collaboration which are on the top of the SCM leaders, supply chain of the future needs to be intelligent too and take many actions on the day to day level automatically (The website can be reached here).
The have also built this tool which can be reached through the website where a company can enter the context data and performance priorities and compares itself with the best players in the market.
