Supply chain: Where is it going?
The answer to this question is not that easy, is it? anyway there are certain trends which can help us have an overview about tomorrow's supply chain:

- 3PL dominance: 3PL service providers will become even more powerful in the future because of the advantage of cost and flexibility.

- Restructuring to form a lean supply chain: to compress time to market and inventory levels.

- Increasing rolelinks of IT: Using Integrated enterprise solutions and applications such as SCE and collaborative forecasting will increase but at the same time companies try to invest more wisely.

What other trends do you see in SCM area?
