Supply chain video

I agree: I have written a lot recently on ERP so I promise this is going to be the last one at least for three weeks:) but I just came across this very nice conversation between Jim Shepherd and Bruce Richardson of AMR Research who discuss the outlook for enterprise applications in 2009. Who are the winners and losers? Is Software as a Service a better model for companies in this economy?
Jim Shepherd believes that this is going to be a bit difficult for the software vendors as the companies might go bankrupt and so the license revenues will dry up. Of course this doesn't include giants like Oracle and SAP which have enough cash to survive. Furthur consolidation is being expected especially on bigh companies' side (SAP and Microsoft).
