Supply chain video: The way Zara operates its supply chain

I recently watched this nice video from Marshall School of Business faculty member S. Rajagopalan. In 20 minute video he presented the case study of the Spanish Apparel company Zara which has successfully competed in a challenging environment and has maintained growth.
Much of the growth of the company has to do with the way Zara manages its supply chain; I had the chance of visiting Zara's logistics facilities in Spain some years ago and listened to company's directors for logistics sharing their operations principles. I liked the company a lot and the visit became one of the memorable visits I have had. Therefore I thought you might also want to know about them.

The Zara case study is a great example of how to efficiently manage a supply chain. There's still plenty of room for improvement but none the less a compelling case. Regards Matthew @ Perceptant.com
