Here comes the second part of the presentation from Mike Bellamy from PassageMaker. In this video, he continues with giving examples of un-cautious procurement managers who went to China for one month to find suppliers, shared some product data with some chinese firms and by the time they were coming back, their products was already on eBay! Well, there are only a certain percentage of suppliers which are like that but anyway, it´s good to have a structured framework for sourcing in China


Mike gives some hints about how to develop such a framework. He believes the use of some exclusivity terms in the contracts may help although enforcement of such legal documents can be hard in China. I hope you will enjoy the second part as well. Visit SupplyChainer for the third part tomorrow.
