Supply chain video: Getting supply chain on the boardroom agenda

According to a new poll in Supply Chain Summit in Europe event, half of the companies don't have supply chain representation in the boardroom even though it's quite important. That's why Cranfield University prepared a short video discussing the topic with with Dr. Richard Wilding.

Dr. Wilding, Professor of Supply Chain Risk Management discusses getting Supply Chain Management on the Board Room Agenda. He illustrates the themes using a simple survey undertaken at the European Supply Chain Summit 2008, Dusseldorf, Germany and responded to by Supply Chain Professionals attending the event. The video addresses the impact of supply chain management of shareholder value, the impact of good supply chain approaches in supporting growth and how supply chain events can result in a 20% reduction in share price.
