Capgemini, the global business consulting company headquartered in Paris, conducted a forward looking supply chain study named "Future Supply Chain 2016" last year. The below video discusses in a brief way, the challenges and strategic themes identified by the research team and the company collaborators.
Among the themes discussed in the video, the focus on regulatory issues and S&OP seemed to have more weight as many of the consumer goods and retail companies are now exposed to cut inventories and comply with various environmental and health and safety regulations.
