Supply chain market has grown 18 percent during 2007

It seems that Supply Chain Vendors are having a good time because revenues at the supply chain vendors increased 17.6 percent from 2006 to 2007, from $5.1 billion to $6 billion, according to CIO Magazine.
This revenue includes total software revenue as revenue generated from new licenses, updates, subscriptions and hosting, technical support and maintenance.
According to a supply chain expert from AMR Research, during the past 18 months, the market has witnessed businesses rediscovering the criticality of supply chain technologies to drive greater customer and supplier satisfaction through better visibility and planning.
So at the end, these has led to a stronger position by the following companies: SAP, Oracle, JDA Software
