Another acquisition news but not in SCM market but in our business: SCM publication!

Actually I was nearly shocked when I heard about it. The thing is that Retail Systems B2B LLC has acquired two supply-chain magazines, along with collateral newsletters and Web sites, from Helmers Publishing Inc.

These magazines are Supply Chain Manufacturing & Logistics Magazine and Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Retail Systems is based in Newton, Mass., and publishes ERI Journal for retail industry executives. The firm is controlled by Alta Communications, a private equity investment firm in Boston. By acquiring these two big ones, Retail Systems has the potential to make a really safe strong place in SCM publishing industry...
