Supply Chain Consultants, designer and supplier of the Zemeter suite of supply chain management (SCM) software products, and Inforg Consulting of Katowice, Poland, have formed a marketing agreement for selling Zemeter S&OP in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

According to SDCE, under the agreement Inforg, using its expertise and experience in manufacturing management, business process improvement and supply chain management, will resell, market and conduct business development activities with regards to the Zemeter S&OP software suite in these designated regions.

"Poland has a strong manufacturing base and senior management is actively seeking ways to enhance profitability and maintain a competitive position in both domestic and foreign markets."

Golen added that supply chain management is a relatively new discipline in Poland, and the solutions available are quite expensive. "We believe Zemeter S&OP is a perfect fit for many companies in our marketplace," he said.

Both Golen and his vice president, Michal Laskowski, cofounders of Inforg, had a long career with the British IT company ICL Ltd. (now Fujitsu Consulting), during which they worked as directors for the company with responsibility for managing all of ICL's activities in Poland.
