Schenker of Canada selects SmartTurn's web 2.0 enabled supply chain solution

Schenker of Canada Limited, said last week it has selected SmartTurn Inc.'s Inventory and Warehouse Management System to track its inventory and streamline the delivery process, SDCE reported.
"After conducting an extensive evaluation of several solutions, SmartTurn's on-demand WMS not only addressed our inventory management and rapid deployment needs but met our expectations as the best solution in that range," said Morris Di Stefano, vice president, information technology at Schenker Canada. "With its ability to quickly deploy to multiple locations combined with significant inventory accuracy and expense control, SmartTurn's WMS 2.0 technology provides us with unparalleled inventory management capabilities."
Based on its WMS 2.0 technology and similar to social networking sites such as LinkedIn and Facebook, SmartTurn said it offers a global collaboration platform that can be delivered across geographic or corporate boundaries and enables companies to implement and integrate additional sites to gain enterprise-wide warehouse visibility and management without any added IT infrastructure or server hardware costs.
