RFID and downloadable games

The use of RFID in the world of gaming has been increasing at a fast pace and this has only added to the fun. A few years back world's first RFID enabled games were unveiled at RFID Journal LIVE held in Africa.

Another one which I can remember is La Fuga, an interactive RFID based game which involves up to three hundred participants and each of the participant wears RFID enabled PDA.

One more game which comes to my mind is Hyperscan, an RFID based game launched by Mattel some time back.

RFID has been making its presence felt in the world of gaming and I was wondering if it could also make itself felt in the world of online games. It would feel great to play some downloadable games based around this evolving technology.

It seems it would happen pretty soon as the technology is growing at a very rapid pace.
