Recent improvement in healthcare software solutions: Supply chain dashboards

Even though a less talked about subject, Healthcare supply chain solutions are rapidly improving their features and capabilities in order to respond to needs of hospitals and other medical institutions.

One of the new features which is slowly becoming a mainstream is "Web-based supply chain dashboards". This new features allow hospitals to easily monitor indicators such as medicine in-stock percentage, user compliance, supply spend analysis and inventory accuracy.

I believe at the end, emergence of such solutions will lead to a change in supply chain management in healthcare from being reactive to proactive...
