New web seminar by Industry Week
Industry Week has organized a new web seminar titled "Sharing Information, Improving Profits: How to Manage your Master Data" sponsored by Liaison.

The seminar will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2006. In this seminar, Forrester Research analyst Kyle McNabb will discuss how managing information about products -- like SKUs, prices, attributes, and customer-friendly descriptions -- can be a critical component of your master data management initiative. McNabb's presentation will provide insight into how you can design your PIM strategy to meet your own unique enterprise data model, and be sure it has the flexibility to adapt to your future needs. He will also share recent trends and best practices in PIM, and help you analyze whether your current Master Data Management system meets your product information needs.

Unisource's Donna Long will share her first-hand experience with designing and implementing a PIM solution. Long will discuss how Unisource streamlined its strategic sourcing and replenishment processes and increased service levels through its product data management initiative. You will hear lessons learned and pitfalls to avoid as you plan a solution to your product information problem.
