New job opportunities for supply chain people in the U.S.

U.S. congressman John P. Murtha has announced that Lockheed Martin Corporation, the world's largest defense contractor, will establish a new Global Supply Chain Services business in Johnstown that will create approximately 135 new jobs over the next three years with average annual wages of $60,000, Daily American News reported.

Global Supply Chain Services is a one-stop supply chain services provider that supports both government and commercial customers. They provide overhaul, repair and spare parts for numerous aircraft systemslinks; warehouse services; transportation management; Aircraft-On-Ground support; and produce various aircraft material kits.

So I think that's good news for supply chain people with defense background because they can try the new leadership vacancies...
