MedAssets Supply Chain Systems Selects Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics for Chemistry and Automation Solutions

Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics, announced that it has been selected by MedAssets Supply Chain Systems, the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and supply chain management company, to provide Chemistry, Automation, and immunoassay solutions for its facilities.

According to PR Newswire, this award will provide an opportunity for Siemens to fulfill its goal of supporting both the customer and patient toward personalized patient care, through integrated chemistry, immunoassay and automation tools.
Participating laboratories will be offered Siemens' full line of ADVIA(R) Chemistry Systems including the ADVIA 2400, 1800, and 1200 as well as immunochemistry systems such as the ADVIA Centaur(R) XP and CP. In addition, members will be offered automation solutions such as the ADVIA LabCell(R) and ADVIA WorkCell(R), which provide state-of-the-art platforms of automation, pre-analytical and post-analytical components that route samples for optimal efficiency. Plans to include the IMMULITE(R) family of immunoassay systems are underway to provide added value to the membership.
