Manhattan sales are up 16%
Manhattan Associates has reported sales of £30 million ($42.8 million) for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region during 2008, a 16 per cent increase compared to the previous year.

According to Supply Chain Standard, Sales for the services arm of the business in the region were also up, totalling £22.4 million ($32 million) during 2008, a 26 per cent increase on 2007, and the company's best full year services performance ever.

Steve Smith, the company's senior vice president, EMEA, said: "Our success in the EMEA region is a result of staying focused, working closely with our partners and providing our customers with a strong payback on their investment in Manhattan Associates' range of integrated supply chain optimization solutions.

"As companies face up to the local and global challenges presented by the current, unprecedented economic conditions, we're confident our industry-leading supply chain solutions will give them the capabilities they need to not just survive the downturn but thrive when the upturn comes."
