Madrid hosts a new supply chain conference on entertainment industry

The Entertainment Supply Chain Academy is organizing a new conference in Madrid during September, 2007. The conference is scheduled for 18-19 September at the NH Eurobuilding in Madrid, Spain and tries to build on the success of ESCA's second annual conference in Los Angeles in June. The event will bring together senior European executives from the home video, games and music industry, together with key specialists from the supply chain sector, to explore ways of maximizing efficiencies in physical media delivery across Europe.
Conference Chairman Devendra Mishra explains: "In Europe's large, diverse and challenging market, it is vital that the home entertainment industry has processes in place which allow optimum performance across the entire supply chain. ESCA - Europe focuses on enhancing the interfaces between content holders, replicators, distributors and retailers, and the operational strategies which will ensure improved collaboration for the betterment of all partners."
