LLamasoft's Singapore office will provide support to address the regional needs of global clients as well as the needs of Asian customers. LLamasoft Asia will support the growing market demand in Asia Pacific for supply chain analysis solutions. LLamasoft continues to expand its international presence and customer roster, as evidenced by significant international contributions to the company's financial results during the first half of the year.
"Asia Pacific is home to some of the fastest growing economies in the world and we're committed to supporting the development and analysis of the supply chain infrastructure throughout the region," said Donald Hicks, President and CEO of LLamasoft. "Supply Chain Guru(tm) has become a market-leading application, and continued acceptance by global clients is proof that the demand for supply chain network design solutions throughout Asia Pacific remains high, particularly with the continued shift towards low-cost country sourcing. I am confident in our team and our ability to scale and grow our international operations."
To further support the expansion in the Asian market, LLamasoft has entered into a strategic partnership with supply chain consulting firm, Planvisage Pte Limited. Planvisage is one of the region's top supply chain management consulting organizations, with significant experience in supply chain network design. The Planvisage team will supplement the LLamasoft services organization with consulting resources as the business continues to expand.
"Supply Chain Guru(tm)'s unique integration of optimization and simulation analysis techniques are in high demand throughout Asia," stated Pari Annamalai, CEO of Planvisage. "We are excited to support LLamasoft's growth and are looking forward to introducing Supply Chain Guru(tm) to our own customer base."
