Lance, Inc. Deploys Logility Solution to Increase the Efficiency of Snack Foods Supply Chain

Logility, Inc., a supplier of collaborative solutions to optimize the supply chain, announced that Lance, Inc., one of the U.S. largest producers and distributors of snack foods, recently deployed Logility Voyager Solutionsâ„¢ to improve the efficiency of its supply chain as it continues to grow its brands and distribution.

The deployment of Logility Voyager Solutions will enable Lance to get the right products to the right place at the right time by giving them the ability to improve inventory management for Direct Store Distribution as well as reduce inventory through a more consistent and systematic application of approved stocking policies. With Logility, Lance will gain more visibility into market demand which will lead to increased forecast accuracy and optimized inventory levels. The company will also have the ability to automatically calculate time-phased inventory plans which will help Lance prevent inventory redundancies and obsolescence.
