Infoactiv introduces web-based supply chain package
A new web-based software system from Infoactiv claims to revolutionise how companies manage their supply chains, Supply Chain Review reported. Infoactiv says its Loginet system gives more control and visibility than previously available.

The product allows companies to proactively plan, source, schedule, produce, store, transport and trace supply chain activities, both domestically and internationally through a single audit and data management solution.

The highly scalable product enables effective management, control and measurement of key supply chain costs and activities, the Infoactiv Group's Helen Jarman says.

"Greater control over multiple suppliers, data, processes and reporting systems will ensure optimisation of the supply chain efficiencies which is critical to being competitive in today's business environment," she says.

She says the system has the ability to dynamically respond to changes and conditions with the support of a real-time, web-based platform that has the flexibility and adaptability to seize market opportunities.

Complete audit and validation of all supplier service charges in an independent forum, gives companies the ability to find discrepancies and act upon them promptly.
