Global forum to address supply chain challenges
Filed in archive Special Events on December 23, 2005

A new global trade conference is on tap for next November, sponsored by the Global Industrial Supply Marketing Organization, a group of industry veterans and trade groups. Called the Global Industrial Supply Marketing Forum, the conference will be held in Chicago Nov. 19-20, 2006.
The conference is aimed at senior management of industrial supply manufacturing firms and other "significant channel players," said Richard F. McGrath, retired vice president of 3M Industrial Products, industry consultant and chairman of the steering committee for GISMO.
The conference will focus on the industrial supply chain, and will address the dynamics of U.S. manufacturer survival, expanding business opportunities, global marketing and sourcing, and the distressed U.S. auto industry, according to GISMO.
