XIMB, a business school in India, has arranged a supply chain management game to test the decision-making skills of the participants in the field.

According to Cool Avenues, The game will be based on real life supply chain modules of various sectors like automobile, retail, etc.
The methodological issues would be validation, verification, optimization and a robust analysis of the different Operational areas like, Procurement, Logistics, Facility Location, Inventory management, Bullwhip Effect and quantification of your decision.
The Game will be played in two rounds:
1. Preliminary Round: This will be an Online Elimination round and will involve filling up of a questionnaire involving concepts of SCM. Teams will be short listed based on their responses to this questionnaire.
2. Final Round: Short listed teams from the Preliminary Round will have to come down to the XIMB campus to play the final round which will involve strategic decision making in SCM.
Prizes worth to be won: Rs 30,000/-
Unfortunately I cannot go to India, otherwise I would definitely try to register in the first round.
