Fidelitone signs a new contract with Aero Products International

"Utilizing Fidelitone will enable Aero to focus on its core competencies in product development, sales and marketing while ensuring that their supply chain is always at peak performance."
Fidelitone will provide inventory forecasting, freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, returns processing and facilities management services for Aero. Business will be conducted at two of Aero's facilities in suburban Chicago. Aero currently sells products through many retail channels, including big box stores, specialty stores, catalogs and via its Web site.
"Fidelitone's core competencies give additional dimension and flexibility to our inventory forecasting and distribution," said Mark Miller, chief financial officer of Aero Products International. "We look forward to working closely with Fidelitone to optimize our logistics functions."
Fidelitone has created a robust inventory forecasting system that will provide significant flexibility for predicting base requirements as well as providing for seasonal and promotional availability. The 3PL will utilize its strategic operating disciplines to ensure customer shipping compliance. Fidelitone has transitioned all Aero Products distribution personnel to its staff, who will continue to operate in the same Wauconda facilities.
Founded in 1929, Fidelitone is a family-owned business headquartered in Wauconda, Illinois, with additional facilities nationwide. Fidelitone works with more than 2,000 vendors while shipping more than 15,000 orders per day to customers.
