U.K. based fashion manufacturer Lipsy has selected BT's Expedite sourcing system to improve its supply chain management.

According to Computer World, The system will provide Lipsy with online access to real-time critical information across the supply chain, ensuring that changes to product specifications are available everyone from range planners to fabric buyers, production and distribution managers.

Lipsy hopes the supply chain improvements will increase productivity and the speed of its response to fashion trends.

Lipsy managing director Jeremy Stakol said: "We are dedicated to ensuring the hottest looks move from catwalk to store in the blink of an eye. Put simply, we try to deliver what our customers want when they want it. However, in order to meet these demands, we need a reliable, efficient supply chain that can deliver our designs from production through to the shop floor seamlessly."
