Filed in archive Products on March 15, 2009

Eqos, a provider of on-demand global sourcing and retail supply chain management, announced last week the commercial availability of Eqos Enterprise 5.0.
According to CRM Today, this latest release reduces the costs associated with global sourcing by further streamlining processes and improving the productivity of buyers and their extended teams, including agents, factories, and other trading partners. Acknowledging today's tough economic challenges, Eqos Enterprise 5.0 is focused on helping retailers cut the operating costs associated with the management of private label programs.
Some of the enhanced functionalities within the new version include:
- New Productivity Menus enable buying teams to better prioritize tasks, more intelligently review responses, and broadcast notifications to suppliers, thereby decreasing the time and effort spent on daily sourcing and supplier activities.
- Critical Path Management Enhancements reduce the complexities associated with managing diverse product lines, trading partner relationships and processes.
- Improved Process Performance and User Experience with iconographic enhancements, simplified navigation, and an interactive user trail, enabling retailers to increase the volume of imports with current staff levels.
- Enhanced Dashboard Capabilities improve visibility across the company and supplier base, enabling decision makers to make more informed choices.
- Improved Application Performance to support its user community, keeping pace with new store openings and successful private label programs.
