EPSON's event in India
Epson recently organized its regional supply chain meet in Bengaluru. Themed `Start together, Achieve together', this year's meet saw senior officials of the supply chain team from the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, including Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia coming together.

According to EFY Times, the meet discussed ways and means of synchronizing output from all logistics partners, in order to improve overall efficiency and with an aim to bring some best practices from all these countries to India.

Addressing the meet, Ikeda Hisashi, head of supply chain, Epson-Asia, said, "Today, customer satisfaction is extremely vital for any organization to be able to have an edge over its competitors. I'm very pleased to say that our operations in APAC and in the Indian market in particular are of the highest quality when benchmarked against competition, according to a recent survey done by us."

J.K. Suresh, deputy general manager-commercial and logistics, Epson India, added, "This year, Epson India's main aim is to reduce the cost on logistics by using various techniques. Our main focus this year would be to improve the existing process of logistic operations and implementation of new models in the transportation system."
