DELL has the best supply chain

DELL, Proctor & Gamble and IBM operate respectively the first, second and third best run supply chains in the world according to the benchmarking data collected by AMR Research. AMR Research released the results of the Second Annual Supply Chain Top 25 on Tuesday, November 08, 2005. The results are summarized in a report which identifies the top 25 manufacturers and retailers that exhibitlinks superior supply chain capabilities and performance.

According to the report, DELL carries 15% less inventory, is 60% faster-to-market, and complete 17% more perfect orders in comparison to its competitors.

Some of the other companies within top 25 list are Nokia(4), Intel(11) and Nike(21) which is new to top 25.
