The implementation, expected to be complete by July 2007 would help Cummins India establish a fully integrated supply and delivery chain, a company release said but did not give the size of the order.
Cummins India plans to use Oracle's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, Oracle Supply Chain Planning, Oracle iSupplier Portal, Oracle Purchasing and Oracle Order Management to create integrated and standardized business processes, with a view to attain greater transparency and better control with lower total cost of ownership.
