Filed in archive News on April 7, 2006
Cott Corporation, a supplier of soft drinks and other beverages, has selected Manugistics to optimize its supply chain across North America, Drink Business Review reported.
Cott plans to implement Manugistics' advanced forecasting, replenishment, and online collaborative vendor management systems to help maximize supply chain performance and enhance profits. Cott said it hoped that the new system would help it make more informed decisions on demand, product availability and shipment delivery.
"We're delighted that Cott, a leading world supplier of retailer-brand soft drinks, selected Manugistics for our leadership position in collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment," said Manugistics senior vice president of Consumer Goods Ronald Kubera.
"Together with Manugistics' solutions, Cott will be better positioned to meet and anticipate the dynamic and demand-driven requirements of their retail customers."
