"Regarding Implementation of WMS packages, Integration with ERP companies is a minor issue today. The top tier WMS companies have integrated to SAP and Oracle at hundreds, if not thousands, of sites. This should play a very minor role in the company decision for choosing a WMS package.

Buyers should be concerned with adaptability/configurability and experience with a certain industry (ie high tech, pharma, retail etc)."

I recently had a talk about choosing the right WMS package for the company and the above mentioned comment was raised by a professional in the IT field. I wanted to know what do you think, What are the factors which CIOs and Chief Logistics Officers should be concerned about?

Which Part should take bigger space in WMS RFP?
