Best Trucking companies of the year 2007

Why is it that certain trucking companies, in a time of rising costs for everything from fuel to drivers, are consistently able to deliver top-flight, innovative services and still turn a profit?


This question became a motivation for Logistics Management Magazine to go and look for the best practices in the trucking industry. One of the outcomes of the work is the list of Top 50 Trucking companies in the U.S.

This year's list in Less than Truckload includes YRC Worldwide, Fedex Freight and Con-way Freight as top 3 and also Swift Transportation Co., Schneider National and J.B. Hunt Transport Services in Full Truckload category as top 3.
