BearingPoint names new leader for supply chain practice

BearingPoint said that Matthew Costello has been appointed Managing Director, Global Supply Chain Practice Leader, effective immediately.
According to Consultant News, Costello, who will continue to serve as the leader of BearingPoint's United Kingdom Commercial Services practice, will be responsible for defining and executing upon the firm's global supply chain strategy and building out its next generation of supply chain solution offerings.
"Mathew's extensive experience in managing large scale business improvement initiatives and operational issues associated with value chain integration makes him the right choice for this critical role," said Michael Lyman, BearingPoint's Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, Global Management consulting.
Costello has extensive experience across a number of critical industry sectors for BearingPoint including high tech, consumer goods, life sciences and retail. He is currently supporting the transformation of end-to-end value chains at several global-leading organizations.
Prior to assuming this responsibility, Costello held numerous management positions within BearingPoint and Andersen LLP. He will report to Lyman and remain based in London.
