Avantcé Software completes acquisition of Radcliffe Inc.
Another acquisition news: Avantcé Software announced last week that it has completed the acquisition of Radcliffe, Inc., a provider of Warehouse Management Solutions that optimize and enable supply chains. Radcliffe will be combined with Robocom Systems International, Avantcé's existing supply chain execution portfolio company.

"The combination of Robocom and Radcliffe creates a Supply Chain Execution Software provider that is exceptionally well positioned to serve its customers", said Jon Scheumann, a Managing Director of Avantcé. "The need for effective, well-proven solutions to managing complex distribution environments continues to grow in importance for our customers. The addition of the Radcliffe people and products with Robocom significantly enhances our ability to meet those needs."

Aivars Lode, the CEO of Robocom said "We spend a terrific amount of time talking with our customers about their current and future needs. We believe that the addition of the Radcliffe Leadership Team and the Radcliffe Product Set will allow us to address more of those needs. Radcliffe's strength in the Third-Party Logistics and Food & Beverage Markets along with the ROC WMS, Labor Management, WebStore and Transportation Management products are significant additions to our capabilities. Our ability to provide Supply Chain Execution Solutions have been significantly expanded with this acquisition."

Fred Radcliffe who will be joining the company as President said "By joining with Robocom we are taking a significant step forward in enhancing our capability to serve our customers. As a combined company with Robocom we are more than doubling the size of our organization, adding new skills and dramatically expanding the products we can provide our customers."

The combined customer list includes over 100 companies and nearly 200 installations. A sample of the combined customer list includes Smithfield Foods, Conagra-Swiss Rose, Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, Parmalat Canada, Moen, Federal Aviation Administration, Liquor Control Board of Ontario, Sonoco Products Company, Hansa Mertens B.V., U.S. Army-Fort Polk, , Nestle Foods, GE Lighting Systems, Nestle Canada, Eaton Corporation (Aeroquip), NB Liquor Control Board, Pero Fresh Produce, Exxon/Mobil Corporation, Exellinks Logistics, Shaws Supermarkets, Distribuidora Metropolitana, CME Wire and Cable, Cadbury and Uponor Finland.
