AMR Research presents Supply Chain 25 List on May 31, 2007
Every year, AMR Research publishes an annual supply chain 25 list with the goal of raising awareness of the importance of supply chain to business, the economy, and society. Yesterday, AMR announced that its third annual Supply Chain Top 25 list will be presented on May 31, 2007 at the company's Supply Chain Executive Conference. This report includes business analysis of how global organizations rank among their peers in supply chain performance.

The ranking is based on a strict but simple methodology, which identifies leaders in the area of supply chain management. There are two underlying components to the final rankings: relevant public financial data and a polling-based opinion assessment. 60% of the total score comes from the financials and 40% comes from the opinion polls.

PR Newswire reported that this year, a peer voting component has been added to the analysis to ensure input from industry. The peer votes will comprise 20% of the total score.

AMR Research encourages any supply chain professional employed by a manufacturer or retailer to apply. Voters can also receive a free copy of the final report. So if you want to participate, just go to: http://www.amrresearch.com/supplychaintop25/
