A supply chain risk management seminar in Chicago
Filed in archive Special Events on July 26, 2007
Dr. Simchi Levi is one of the famous people at MIT in the area of supply chain and I remember that his supply chain planning course was a must-take for the people who wanted to go deep in logistics field. He was also founder of the software company Logic Tools which offer supply chain network design software. He recently sold the company to ILOG.
I noticed last week that he is going to have a seminar in Chicago in late september covering supply chain risk issues. The seminar is planned to be held in September 27-28. Other speakers include:
Mark Hillman, Research Director, AMR Research
Sharan Singanamala, Program Manager, Global Logistics, GE Healthcare
Jean-François Abramatic, Vice President, Chief Product Officer, ILOG
Since I know how good Simchi Levi is this subject, I strongly recommend you to attend if you get a chance. More info. can be found here.
